The image is symbolic and deliberately designed.
After reading about the connection between witches and butterflies, I got to work. "Witch".
According to a medieval folk belief, witches occasionally transform into butterflies at night.
But it can also be seen differently. Butterflies often symbolize change, personal growth, or a transition in life.
I deliberately chose a petrol-black wooden frame to complement the black and white… butterfly pattern. The artwork appears to float within the frame because it is slightly raised. Frame dimensions: 32cm x 42cm x 6.5cm (H x W x D).
