About this artwork
I am a happiness creator. I use my artistic talent as a force to bring happiness and joy into the world.
In crafting this piece, I embraced the vibrancy and transient beauty of a blossoming flower garden. Guided by the principles of expressionism and impressionism, I used acrylics to achieve bold, emotive colors and a dynamic texture that invites the viewer to feel each petal's energy. This painting translates the joyful chaos of nature into a… harmonious burst that brightens and uplifts any space it inhabits.
I am also an evidence-based design (EDAC) certified artist. When I paint, my goal is to use knowledge from medical and scientific studies to trigger the brain to create dopamine, a happiness chemical. We now have the technology to study the brain on art. In 2024, I was interviewed by a brain studies team at Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine for my evidence-based design art and my book, 100 Days Of Happy Happy Art, Evidence-Based Design.

I am a bestselling polymath painter. My floral art is based on actual medical/scientific studies on health and happiness. In 2024, Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine interviewed me for my “happy” art and my book, 100 Days Of Happy Happy Art, Evidence-Based Design. My art was also on the Jan/Feb 2025 cover of Healthcare Design Magazine.
By 2050, an estimated 70% of the world’s population will live in cities. My Smart City Art series promotes this planet-healing idea. I also worked in Tokyo as an English rewriter for the anime/animation industry, which included working on a Studio Ghibli film before it got sold to Disney. I believe this influence comes out in my Smart City Art abstracts. In 2026, I will be going to China for three months to paint beautiful Shanghai and sustainability.
I also love creating commissioned art. I love combining my art talent with a client's vision to create a new work of art. It's challenging but so much fun!
