Dušica Pejić explores the relationship between visual art, movement, and psychological states. Her works reflect an introspective searching of the unconscious, evident in her paintings, objects, and drawings. She examines the interplay between the conscious and unconscious, focusing on inner conflicts shaping daily life. Dušica holds a bachelor's and master's degree in painting from the Academy of Arts in Novi Sad and a specialization from the Faculty of Fine Arts in Belgrade, Serbia. Recognized as a leading abstract painter in Serbia since 2000, her works are part of prestigious collections, including Mandarin Oriental Savoy and Alex Lake Luxury Hotel in Zurich, MONO in Budapest, and others. As an associate at the Belgrade Dance Institute, she develops projects integrating visual and performing arts.
