About this artwork
I painted the yellow horse with acrylics on canvas. The design is printed directly onto aluminum composite panel for the print edition. It can be hung on the wall immediately.
Regarding the material: 3mm aluminum composite: stable, bend-resistant, weather-resistant, and as sharp as a print on paper. With hanging hardware.
Latest generation UV direct printing, matte surface in absolutely rich colors and high-resolution detail.
I chose this method… of implementation because it is clean and stable.
When laminating paper onto aluminum composite panel (Aludibond), "pimples" can appear during the gluing process. And while a canvas is unique, it is equally susceptible to dents.
