About this artwork
As I like to let my work speak for itself, of course I could autogenerate with some tool a description that sounds overly complicated as you will find in plenty of my works here but I did not do that or consent for that to be done I'm trying to change that on everyone of my works whenever I find something like that, Again I think is important than any work of art even more so in this day an age when there is in my opinion too much value to words.…
Of course this painting is my humble Homage to one of my greatest inspirations when I was a child "Michael Jordan"
« Regarding my art, most of the time words come as an excess. I want my paintings to speak for themselves. »
I intentionally avoid assigning decipherable titles or providing literal explanations. It is important to me that each viewer approaches the work without external guidance, forming their own interpretations based solely on the visual and emotional experience. Today, discourse, statements, and fabricated personas are often prioritised over the actual work itself. As a result, the constructed “persona” has, regrettably, come to overshadow the true substance of what anyone produces. I understand that this approach runs counter to much of the advice commonly given to gain visibility. But if we cannot remain true to our principles in creative endeavours, then what, ultimately, do we have left?
