This work is inspired by an elevated, distant perspective reminiscent of viewing the Earth from above, where ocean, clouds, and atmospheric layers merge into soft fields of color.
The composition is structured through horizontal divisions. A deep, dark band anchors the upper part of the canvas, while a luminous turquoise field expands below, creating a sense of openness and depth. A subtle, lighter line between them acts as a threshold, suggesting… a transition rather than a fixed boundary.
The painting evokes a quiet, contemplative state, a moment of stillness between layers, where structure and atmosphere coexist in balance.
