About this artwork
I have always been fascinated by birch trees – they stand out in the forest, almost foreign, sometimes even eerie, but always captivating. Their stark white trunks with dark markings feel both fragile and strong, like silent witnesses of time. For me, the birch is a bridge between my old home and my new one.
