THE GOLDEN NEST is an immersive piece that revolves around the idea of refuge, origin, and life cycle.
Three-dimensional, sculptural.
Mixed media: wood chips, dry field grass, seed shells, acrylic and epoxy resin.
With textures and large reliefs. Painted sides. Can be hung vertically or horizontally.
The resin gives the piece great strength, a watery, crystalline, shiny appearance, and great depth.
The work captures the eye in a spiraling movement,… where nature becomes a metaphor for humanity: the search for a safe place, the memory of what is essential, and the impulse to be reborn. With its dense and vibrant texture, it invites us to experience the telluric force of nature and its capacity to welcome and regenerate.
