About this artwork
In this painting, I sought to capture the timeless balance of life’s essential forces meeting in a single, sacred place. The glow of the fire, the cool shimmer of water, the grounding embrace of earth, and the gentle breath of desert air all gather under the watchful moon. At their heart rests the fifth element — family — the living bond that unites and gives purpose to them all. This oasis is more than a refuge in the wilderness; it is a vision… of harmony, protection, and belonging, filling any space with warmth, life, and the enduring story of what truly sustains us.
My paintings are spiritual journeys — living stories where sacred symbols, hidden figures, and timeless messages come alive. I paint intuitively, guided by emotion, music, and the unseen. Angelic forms, mystical signs, and archetypal symbols appear as talismans — not decoration, but vessels of meaning and healing.
Though I come from a family of painters, my own path first led through science, working for many years in cancer diagnostics and exploring the hidden patterns of life. Eventually, I returned to my true inheritance — painting. I studied at Emily Carr University of Art + Design, but my deepest guidance comes from intuition and the soul.
Like Chagall, whose poetic world has always inspired me, I seek to create portals — works that speak to the heart. Each painting is an invitation to remember who we are and to take part in healing the world, one soul at a time.
