About this artwork
In this piece, I poured deep emotion into every brushstroke, blending expressionism and surrealism to capture a transcendent moment. The angel's gentle violin echoes through flames of passion and memory, bridging the metaphysical and symbolic realms. It invites you to feel both the ethereal and the earthly, filling your space with a powerful, contemplative energy that stirs the soul and ignites imagination.
“When the Angel Plays the Violin” is a… painting about love that refuses to end.
Two souls flicker in candlelight — still dancing, still loving, even after death. In the mirror, their embrace lives on.
The angel stands near, holding his violin, but he does not play.
Not yet.
He waits — quiet, aching — for the moment their souls are ready to return.
Then, and only then, he will begin to play. And through his song, they will be reborn. They will find each other. And love will begin again.
My paintings are spiritual journeys — living stories where sacred symbols, hidden figures, and timeless messages come alive. I paint intuitively, guided by emotion, music, and the unseen. Angelic forms, mystical signs, and archetypal symbols appear as talismans — not decoration, but vessels of meaning and healing.
Though I come from a family of painters, my own path first led through science, working for many years in cancer diagnostics and exploring the hidden patterns of life. Eventually, I returned to my true inheritance — painting. I studied at Emily Carr University of Art + Design, but my deepest guidance comes from intuition and the soul.
Like Chagall, whose poetic world has always inspired me, I seek to create portals — works that speak to the heart. Each painting is an invitation to remember who we are and to take part in healing the world, one soul at a time.
