About this artwork
In this piece, I sought to capture the transition between calm and intense emotion, using acrylics to create texture and depth. The warm tones, along with mauves and fuchsias, awaken the senses, inviting reflection and renewal. I want the viewer to feel a vibrant energy and a positive impulse that transforms any space into a haven of inspiration.
Elena Acero is a contemporary abstract painter with a highly sculptural approach, using natural pigments and exploring color, matter, and gesture from a background in social sciences. Her abstract and intuitive technique develops through layers, textures, and meditative processes, leaving visible traces of her creative process. She seeks to capture the essence of being and invisible emotional states in each work, inviting introspection and a profound, transformative connection. She paints what she feels, not what she sees. What defines her is that she paints from intuition, authenticity, and the heart.
