About this artwork
This work, created with acrylic paint, markers, gel pen and charcoal pencil on Bristol paper, combines the aesthetics of pop art with expressive decorative linework and vibrant color. The title, inspired by the famous The Doors lyric, emphasizes the image of a modern woman — bright, strong, and independent.
The face almost completely fills the composition, creating a sense of direct presence. Fiery shades of yellow, orange, and red transform the… hair into a stream of energy and movement, while bold black lines intensify the rhythm and dynamism of the image. The cool blue reflection of the sunglasses contrasts with the warm palette, adding an air of mystery and emotional distance. The combination of acrylic, markers, and charcoal pencil gives the surface a layered, lively texture where decorative style merges with strength and character.
“Twentieth Century Fox” portrays a woman who does not seek to fit expectations, but instead becomes a source of light, energy, and freedom herself.
Ginsburg, an artist trained in pen & ink, aquarelle, and graphic design, now specializes in acrylic painting. She blends expressionist abstraction with impressionist landscapes and Art Deco influences, using unconventional tools and materials like leaves and dried flowers. Her artworks radiate emotion, portraying her personal sensory interpretation of the world; a meadow becomes a melody, a sunset, the spicy scent of summer fields.
