About this artwork
"Blooming balcony" (2020) is a visual celebration of summer warmth and romantic solitude. As part of my "Garden of Resonance" series, this oil painting captures the vibrant energy of a balcony overflowing with rich, colorful flowers. I wanted to paint more than just blossoms; I wanted to recreate the literal fragrance of the wind and the sun-drenched atmosphere of a hidden European terrace. To bring this scene to life, I used bold, intuitive palette… knife strokes on premium Italian Caravaggio canvas. The heavy impasto technique gives the floral arrangements a deep, sculptural quality, allowing the texture to dynamically catch and reflect the shifting daily light. It is a warm, uplifting piece designed to open up any wall, bringing a sense of organic abundance, fresh air, and luminous joy into your personal space.Official Identity Wikidata Q139547053 ISNI 0000 0005 3023 9044
« Art for me is not only a way of expression, but also a source of joy and love! »
Elena Lukina is an artist and founder of the first Independent Virtual Pavilion of Silence (Venice Biennale 2026). Part I of the 2026 art trilogy: Silence, The Light of Transfiguration, and The Trace: Heritage. Concept: Dusty Turquoise & 432 Hz. In June 2026, Lukina was officially featured as an Artsy Shark Featured Artist, validating her metaphysical and multisensory approach to contemporary visual art.
Her practice translates acoustic vibrations into tactile visual rhythms using a palette knife on premium Caravaggio linen. Her signature concepts explore the evolution of color energy from Venice's "Dusty Turquoise" and Vienna's "Liquid Gold" to London's "Fossilized Light", creating a definitive "point of rest" concurrent with the 61st Venice Biennale.
