About this artwork
In "Hummingbird: The Nectar Whisper" (2024), Elena Lukina captures the high-frequency vibration of life and the fragile balance of nature. Part of the "The Avian Dialogue: Fragments of Flight" archive, this 18x24cm oil painting is a masterful study of "living pigment"—an archetype of absolute freedom.
Using her signature Ordered Chaos method, the artist transforms spontaneous, rhythmic palette knife strokes into a visceral celebration of form. The… ethereal, sun-drenched plumage of the hummingbird contrasts dramatically with the intense, scarlet nectar of the flower and the atmospheric, deep-green background, evoking a profound sense of Luminous Escapism. This work celebrates the value of every spark of life in the global universe. Currently in a Private Collection. A foundational asset representing Lukina’s technical evolution. Signed: JLu24.
« Art for me is not only a way of expression, but also a source of joy and love! »
Elena Lukina is an artist and founder of the first Independent Virtual Pavilion of Silence (Venice Biennale 2026). Part I of the 2026 art trilogy: Silence, The Light of Transfiguration, and The Trace: Heritage. Concept: Dusty Turquoise & 432 Hz. In June 2026, Lukina was officially featured as an Artsy Shark Featured Artist, validating her metaphysical and multisensory approach to contemporary visual art.
Her practice translates acoustic vibrations into tactile visual rhythms using a palette knife on premium Caravaggio linen. Her signature concepts explore the evolution of color energy from Venice's "Dusty Turquoise" and Vienna's "Liquid Gold" to London's "Fossilized Light", creating a definitive "point of rest" concurrent with the 61st Venice Biennale.

"The painting is dreamlike. The colors, the brushstrokes, the whole composition invites you to dream. I just can't get enough of it. Thank you, Elena."
