About this artwork
In this artwork, I wanted to capture the mysterious depth and fluid movement of the ocean. Using acrylics, I played with shades of blue and black to evoke both the power and serenity of the water. Each brushstroke conveys a vibrant energy that will bring freshness and dynamism to your space, like an invitation to dive into an infinite and soothing universe.
Elena Maslovskaya, a painter and conceptual artist, trained outside of traditional academic circles, drawing on philology, music, marketing, and psychology. She favors acrylic on canvas, working in successive layers to create a lyrical, gestural abstraction imbued with visual rhythms and vibrant depths. Her works invite the viewer to feel an inner pulse, a subtle energy that soothes, challenges, and liberates a buried emotion within them.
