About this artwork
In this painting, I was drawn to the moment when flowers gather their energy all at once — when petals open fully, colors deepen, and the whole plant seems alive with quiet movement. I wanted the viewer to feel very close to the blossoms, almost inside the foliage, where light slips between leaves and petals begin to glow.
This painting belongs to my Breathing Color series, where I explore flowers as living rhythms of light and color rather than… precise botanical forms. Loose, layered brushstrokes allow the surface to remain vivid and tactile, giving the blossoms a sense of movement and air.
In an interior, the work brings the feeling of early summer into the room — fresh, warm and quietly abundant, like a garden moment that continues to breathe indoors.
