relationship between reason and feeling, between intimacy and a gigantic astonishing machine of urban civilization. The art deco style architectures that rise behind the figure refer to the images of Fritz Lang's “Metropolis”, but more generally to the dreams of the glorious future of civilization, which our soul continues to question. At the same time one of our common dreams is just this - to fly over our cities, to float in the air light and free, without fear and suffering, to enjoy the flight.
