In this work I passionately combine emotions and shapes with acrylic and marble dust to create an abstract composition. The gentle, flowing transitions and earthy tones create a calming atmosphere and encourage reflection and dreaming. The dusted marble dust gives the picture an almost velvety character. Elisabeth Ritz is an experienced Swiss artist whose works are exhibited in galleries across the country. She works with a wide variety of materials, but mainly with stone powder and sand to create a basis, a valid surface. This is changed until she defines it as a harmonious image. Her pictures are subdued in color, radiate calm and rely on the harmony of colors and shapes, which is their basis.
