About this artwork
A fusion of warm and cold tones creates a dreamlike landscape at sunset, the gaze towards the horizon, which is often present in my works, is interrupted by scratches, vaguely reminiscent of rain.
Light, the main subject of this work, is rendered through the masterful use of color and becomes the focal point of this work, which reveals itself the more you observe it.
Elisabetta Pienti, a Milanese artist who moved to New York, primarily uses oil painting and trained at the New York School of Art. Her technique blends the evanescence of color with textural strokes, creating abstract, dreamlike landscapes imbued with surreal atmospheres. Her works, rich in introspection and a search for balance, evoke profound emotions and invite the viewer to lose themselves and find themselves in a meditative state, transforming each painting into a personal and therapeutic experience.
