About this artwork
Abrade is a large abstract painting featuring balanced shades of blue, green and white with accents of pink and gold. The textural surface was created by scraping and exposing layers of oil and acrylic which add real depth to the painting. Abrade also features subtle use of iridescent paint that glow with direct light, transforming the painting with the light.
