An exploration into light Cadence 3 is a serene and ethereal abstract painting featuring sensous blues, pinks and purples. Through the use of interference paint this painting catches the light, glowing in either the sunlight or with a lightsource and then showcasing the cooler undertones in overcast lighting. Cadence 3 comes to life within the light, changing throughout the day and seasons, a dream like allegory of how the light is both what illuminates…
and allows us to see and yet is also what obscures sight - to be blinded by the beauty of the dazzling light.
