About this artwork
In creating this piece, I sought to capture a dream like serenity and entwine it with the pure joy that colours bring. The colours cascade down the canvas in lively flourishes connecting many layers of oil and acrylic paint. The pearlescent tones present on top of and inbetween layers imbue the canvas with a sense of reflection and tranquility. As joyously vibrant as it is tranquil, this painting is a celebration of colour.
