About this artwork
Washed Dreams 02 is a delicate abstract painting featuring layers in subtle shades of muted white, green, blue and brown. The colour pallette and structure of feathery delicate cracks are reminiscent of trodden snow or frozen ice bearing witness to the passing of time, the debris and dirt trapped within the structure, made visible through the cracks. This interplay between the layers give the illusion of depth to the smooth surface.
