I saw the effect of light, the reflection, the refraction of the light, the vibration in the water and the reflection of the trees in the water. I found that very intriguing, I had… to do something with it. I always look for abstraction in my subjects. so you can see this painting both impressionism and abstract.

Ella Joosten is an award-winning artist based in the Netherlands whose works have been exhibited nationally, as well as in Italy and Hungary. In addition, her art has been featured in publications such as Art Agenda and Stichting Kunstweek.
