"Katarsis" (Classical writing of the word is diverted with the use of "K" by Elle) or definition of the Greek κάθαρσις, "purification separation of the good from the bad" is a relationship with regard to the… passions a means of converting them according to the Aristotelian philosophy relating to rhetoric to aesthetics and politics.
In psychoanalysis following Freud, catharsis:
