About this artwork
This work was created upon my return from Greece, the land of my ancestors. A very important journey for me, the intensity of which, thinking about it before, during, and after, was such that only painting could allow me to express these feelings. Here we have a canvas inspired by the Greek flag and the colors of the Greek landscape, food, and especially Kalamata olives.
Self-taught and a graduate of the Sorbonne, Elliott Belissa primarily uses painting to express his synesthesia. His style, though abstract in form, contains profound meaning, visualizing the colors and movements of words and melodies. Belissa's works convey the palpable emotion of living his dreams, transforming music and language into dynamic and colorful landscapes.
