About this artwork
Work of atypical abstract expressionism with a double thickness of raw cotton canvas of which only the one in the background is completely attached to the frame. The one in the foreground hangs freely on the bottom of the work and loosely exceeds the frame. However, it is stapled on the top and sides.
Living canvas as in the workshop but with a hanging system. The raw canvas is deformed by the paint and the water games which cause drips.
This rendering… would not exist if the canvas was completely stretched on its support. Colorful and dynamic work.
