About this artwork
I created this piece on a bright Labor Day afternoon, capturing a rare moment of intentional pause and celebration. By painting freehand, I wanted to mirror the spontaneity of rest and the pure joy that emerges when we finally slow down. The bold color palette and thick, expressive strokes are a reflection of that creative freedom—a departure from the rigid and a move toward the light.
