About this artwork
Nido wood is the latest addition to the new (s)Confini series. It is made up of 2 single pieces of wood which, when interlocked, form a single composition. The (s)Confini series are new works where the color is made to flow into traced borders, where the color remains material and powerful, covering the space that has been prepared. The borders draw shapes of bodies which in turn recall other figures and symbols. The same borders are then crossed…
and the color comes out and drips from the canvas, sending the message that one must aspire to freedom and dare.
Two bodies united in balance, yet seem safe and confident oriented towards life. United in an embrace that joins and unites them, one enters the other. Where do you end and where do I begin?
Leave me. Oh! Let me immerse my soul in colors....

« Light, shadow and fire that burns, but that warms and illuminates the path, so we, hand in hand, run towards the stars. »
