About this artwork
Reality and Illusion, original oil painting on canvas. I reimagined the themes of my earlier work, His Moon, His Love, through an inverted, more introspective lens. A woman arcs into a luminous backbend, her blue silhouette stretching like a living bridge between sky and water. Tiny white sparkles glint across her leotard, echoing stardust, while her hair spills downward in a waterfall of light.
Reality and Illusion move between opposing forces,… inviting the viewer into a world where fire meets water, motion becomes serenity, and the beautiful female body speaks in equal measures of strength and vulnerability, a vision both real and dreamlike.
