About this artwork
This original oil painting of Mahavatar Babaji was born when I first read *The Autobiography of a Yogi*. From that moment, his presence slowly entered my daily life through devotion, meditation, and the teachings of Paramahamsa Vishwananda, Bhakti Marga.
I wanted to express him as a felt presence: loving, timeless, peaceful, and deeply transformative. Through contemporary oil portraiture, soft colour, and an ethereal atmosphere, I wanted to create… a space for reflection, emotional connection, mindfulness, and inner stillness. At the same time, I felt that my brush was guided.
For me, this painting is a devotional offering about unconditional love, quiet guidance, healing presence, and human transformation. I invite the viewer to pause, rest in his gaze, and reconnect with to the love within.
Eniko Toth, a London-based Jungian artist, communicates through oils and acrylics, strengthened by her background in natural sciences and engineering. Her paintings, perfect blend of contemporary figurative and expressionist techniques, transform observed realities into symbolic landscapes using layering, glazing and expressive brushwork. Toth's work evokes a sense of wonder with hidden symbols, inspiring emotional resonance and celebration of interconnectedness, signaling viewers to explore their own dreams and emotions.
