Have you ever noticed how much our emotions are "colorful"?
We express ourselves by connecting emotions with a certain color: being white with fear, seeing black, green with envy, etc.
The emotion is precisely expressed better with a color, the color is beyond rationality, the color is felt, it is perceived in a way that we cannot completely describe with logic, but it gives the idea of what that we feel better than anything else.
The element… that distinguishes Demò's painting is the physical contact with color.
He does not use cold and inanimate brushes, but materials full of creative energy, as in this case resin on plexiglas with a spatula, which shape the chromatic mixture.
Materials used: Resin, colors for glass and acrylic, metal powders and stones on mdf panel.
