Vivo y trabajo en un pueblito costero del Uruguay, rodeada de playas de arenas blancas, faros y mar. Por eso no puedo escapar a sus irresistibles encantos y al placer que me produce pintarlos de vez en cuando. Con mi visión generalmente abstracta y mi técnica trato de que sientan el mar, la arena, sus aromas, sus brumas, sus tonos de acuerdo a la estación del año y por supuesto esos vigías que asoman en el horizonte, para cuidar de los marinos,… los imperturbables faros.
