About this artwork

In my The Pious series of acrylics and mixed media I paint women in various emotional states. For this I rely on the compositions, on the textures of their backgrounds and above all on the color. I want each work to produce an immediate sensation in the viewer when observing it, whether it be joy and happiness, as well as recollection and melancholy. Of course, the mood of the person watching the work will influence, it is totally subjective, hence… my interest in being able to transmit an emotion, a feeling that moves the viewer.
