About this artwork
Originally this series started off with an artist friend of mine trolling me; He used to come into my studio, to look at my finished paintings and say things like, “you should put jumping hyenas in over here and a boxing hare here”. “Put some humour into the work”, he said…. Well the joke's on him because I did just that… and he ‘aint laughing now! (…wait!)
All of these artworks are painted on recovered past demonstrations I've given my students… in class at U.A.L over the years. They are weird, creepy, fun pieces To bring a little bit of humour and magic into this crazy beautiful world of ours.
