In this work, I played with vibrant pastel colors and expressive forms to merge inner conflicts and dreams. The semi-abstract figures dance between reality and surrealism, reflecting feelings that are difficult to put into words. It brings a lively energy to any room, invites reflection and feeling, and allows the viewer to immerse themselves in a fascinating emotional world.
Erdogan Bulut works as a painter, filmmaker, and professor, utilizing a wide range of media, including oil, acrylic, pastel, photography, sculpture, printmaking, and digital techniques. His style is based on realistic elements, which he transforms into an abstract surrealism. Deliberate alterations of form and experimental techniques make his works fresh and vibrant. His art reflects current events in dialogue with the past and future, conveying moving emotions ranging from love and war to laughter and tears—a kaleidoscope of human experience. Discovered by the art market immediately after completing his five years of study, Erdogan Bulut's work has been exhibited in various galleries (with catalogs), museums, art associations, and art fairs, including in Miami, USA. His feature films, "Playground" (2013-14), "Letter to Goya," and "Us Still Exist," have garnered awards at numerous prestigious film festivals worldwide and have been the subject of interviews.
