About this artwork
Against a deep black background, I let my emotions speak in a free, spontaneous, unconstrained gesture.
The creation was done in a completely intuitive way, carried by the moment and the intensity of my feelings.
The dominant blue tones trace vertical and horizontal lines that intersect, respond to, and seek each other out.
They evoke structure, but also fluidity – a silent dialogue between stability and movement.
It is an exploration of human… duality, of what we feel on the surface and deep down, between calm and tumult, strength and fragility.
Touches of golden yellow pierce the darkness, like so many inner lights.
They bring a subtle luminosity, bursts of hope, moments of clarity in the heart of chaos.
The work invites the contemplation of an abstract emotional landscape, a raw reflection of the soul in the present moment.

Eric Delahaye, a visual artist who works primarily with paint, first gained recognition as a performance painter. Employing a palette knife, he has perfected his unique style, blending abstraction, semi-abstraction, and conceptual art. Through his "Vibrations" and "Effusion" series, he expresses his inner contrasts: masculine and feminine, shadow and light, joy and sorrow. His works evoke a profound sense of freedom, presenting a universe filled with emotion and reflection.
