About this artwork
The city of Valparaíso breathes in diagonals.
The elevators go up and down,
The blue vibrates between the rails,
a blue that fades into the distance,
that touches the sea and blends with the sky.
Veils of light cover the ceilings,
brushstrokes of mist,
The Pear Tree:
two halves of the same dream,
an up, a down,
and in the center,
the painting that breathes.
