About this artwork

A tranquil composition of warm and inviting hues. Umber browns sweep to ochre yellows and creamy whites giving the painting a subtle but beautiful contrast and mood of an incoming storm on a sunny day. Golden rain drops dance in the wind with dramatic energy amongst the chaos of a storm and you can feel the droplets hit your face as the clouds roll in with the promise of more, yet the sun's rays persist. This painting includes Erin's signature… gold leaf application which is subtle and carefully blended into the work for dimension not otherwise achieved with color.
