In my abstract acrylic paintings I play with the tension between sky and sea, light and shadow, calm and movement. The harmonious composition of cool blue and warm yellow promises a calming but also energizing look for every room. The artist Ernestine Faux, born 1958 in Graz, Austria, studied at the College of Fashion and Art in Vienna (1977). She spent over 18 years in the Middle East, Africa and Asia. In 1994, while living in Bali, she decided to devote herself exclusively to painting. Since 2000 she lives and works in Graz.
