About this artwork
In this painting, I express through the vibrant mediums of acrylic, the capture of raw energy and passion for nature.
Using rich textures and an earth-toned palette, I invite the viewer to feel the deep and often tumultuous emotions I experience when faced with the wild beauty of our world.
The pink-red light seeping into the ground, animates the canvas and gives it, along with the browns, an organic dimension.
Each brushstroke is a tribute to… the earth, exploring the complexity of our connections to it. This piece is not just a canvas; it is an ongoing dialogue with our environment.
Matte black frame as for all my paintings.
Work, signed, dated and titled on the back of the canvas like all of my paintings.
Erwin Steinbach (1964) uses painting, acrylic and oil, drawing and textiles, drawing on a rich career that encompasses these three mediums. He explores a variety of techniques, combining free pictorial gesture with the elegance of line and the complexity of textile textures, thus developing a profoundly eclectic style. His works convey an emotion that is both intimate and universal, inviting contemplation, self-searching and empathy. French artist whose works have been presented in several private or public, personal and collective exhibitions on a national and international scale.
