About this artwork
In this painting, I explored the instinctive fusion of acrylics and oils to capture the emotional and ephemeral essence of nature. My brushstrokes express a tumult of feelings, embodying both the strength and delicacy of the natural elements.
Taking inspiration from Fauvism and Impressionism, I chose fiery reds and stormy grays to convey raw energy and passion.
This painting is not just a scene, it is a vibrant experience that intensifies the mood… of any space, a landscape inviting the observer to feel rather than simply see.
The canvas is framed in a matte black frame, signature, date and location annotated on the back of the canvas as for all of my paintings.
I remain at your artistic disposal.
Erwin Steinbach (1964) uses painting, acrylic and oil, drawing and textiles, drawing on a rich career that encompasses these three mediums. He explores a variety of techniques, combining free pictorial gesture with the elegance of line and the complexity of textile textures, thus developing a profoundly eclectic style. His works convey an emotion that is both intimate and universal, inviting contemplation, self-searching and empathy. French artist whose works have been presented in several private or public, personal and collective exhibitions on a national and international scale.
