"COPIHUES CHILENOS", the typical flower of Chile, captured in Acrylic / Oil on Amate Paper, this type of Paintings is very difficult and complex.
The paper amate (in Nahuatl: ámatl)? It is a type of vegetable paper whose origin dates back in Mexico1 to the pre-Hispanic period of Mesoamerica.
It is a GREAT CHALLENGE to paint on AMATE PAPER, ... everything as I start as pictorial essays, and after a long period of painting, learning, and discovering,… I started a very interesting series, with a lot of work and color harmony and you draw varied themes and shapes .

Estela Del Valle Mañez is an experienced artist based in Chile whose paintings have been exhibited nationally, as well as in Mexico, Spain, the United States, and Argentina. Early in her career, she favored Impressionism. However, after being introduced to abstraction and magical realism, Del Valle Mañez's artistic expression evolved into a distinctive fusion of genres. She primarily creates with acrylics and oils on canvas.
