About this artwork
In this work, I wanted to capture the vibrant fusion of street art and wild nature. Using a pop art style, I depicted colorful lions navigating an urban staircase... and among them, an unflappable teenager. What is he doing here? Or what are the lions doing around him? Neither the lions nor the young man seem frightened.

Eunice Green is a completely self-taught artist. A secretive and solitary child, she gave drawing an important place in her youth: "escaping through the mine". From scribbled school notebooks to sketchbooks, Eunice exploits the smallest piece of free paper to sketch anything and everything, but in the smallest details.
After studying nursing and a less than fulfilling professional career, Eunice chose to make painting her vocation. Her free and instinctive creation revolves around recurring subjects: animals, nature, and femininity. Her paintings with bright and passionate hues reveal the fragility and strength of women, the liveliness of animals, the beauty of nature. Through her art, she gives a silent but powerful voice to what is no longer listened to or heard. "Painting is speaking without saying a word"
