About this artwork
This work was created at the end of midsummer, carefree days.
The base consists of individual plywood panels, which are connected to each other in such a way that this picture can be folded up like a fanfold.
My inspiration was studying meteorites... I thought I had found one, but it was an earthly, mysterious piece! A beautiful waste product from iron production!
Nevertheless, it was exciting because such finds are extremely rare...
In these… days of uncertainty I began this work. And when it became clear that I wasn't dealing with a meteorite, I felt somehow liberated and relieved. In this good mood, I completed the work with great inspiration and joy.
This vibe felt like a COSMIC HOME.
