Painting with acrylics and pastels on wood
In this work, the colors red and turquoise-green appear powerful and luminous.
The white structures and lines in the background are like in a wild dance.
It was created during the rough nights at the end of December 2021.
The twelve days between Christmas and January 6th shone as a mysterious time. According to old folk belief, these nights are a preparation for the coming year.
Many customs, oracles… and stories are entwined around them all over the world. It is also a hidden creative new beginning after the darkest time of the year.
And it is the solemn transition into a New Year.
There are two professionally embedded eyelets on the back and the sides of the picture are also painted so that the work can be hung up immediately.
