About this artwork
The title of this work speaks for itself...
... it requires sensitivity for a differentiated and fine observation...
In the process of creation, I used strong colors in the background; I then painted over this very impasto with white paint. While still wet, I connected it to a counterpart that was prepared in a similar way. When these two painting grounds were separated, the relief-like structures emerged. When dry, these were partially sanded… off. This then brought out the colors in fascinating detail, including the finest particles of gold leaf.
Acrylic paints on hardboard 59 x 89.5 cm, with wooden frame 66 x 96 x 2.5 cm.
A matt varnish protects the work from the effects of light
The work is signed and you will receive a signed certificate of authenticity.
There are two hanging loops on the back so that the picture can be hung immediately.
