Eva Kristina Achilles is a visual artist, illustrator, and political scientist with a classical music background (opera), who primarily uses painting as her form of expression. In her richly detailed works, she blends modern interpretations of Art Nouveau with steampunk elements, geometric forms, and hints of Art Deco, Cubism, and abstract art. She virtuously plays with contrasts such as chaos/order, 2D/3D, uses highly pigmented paints, and always places aesthetics at the heart of her work.
