About this artwork
In my artwork I combined marble dust structures with paper collage. The bold, colored blocks and the subtle white marble dust texture are a metaphor for resistance and the complexity of freedom. The image, characterized by strict lines and interrupted by chains, reflects the struggle for balance between restriction and liberation, which is intended to inspire reflection in the viewer. This artwork will create a powerful atmosphere in any room.

Evelyn Fasch, a trained self-taught artist, uses acrylic paints, inks, chalks, coffee and real rust. She creates images in multiple steps and layers, often using extended photo sections as a base and creating different surfaces through marble dust, ash and sand. Triggered by her passion for old facades, lost places and observations of nature, and often inspired by thoughts of current events, her works make viewers think and evoke emotions.
