About this artwork
The painting "It Is So" was selected for the 14th International Autumn Art Salon, BWA Ostrowiec Świętokrzyski (2021). It also participated in the exhibition "How Art You," Concordia Design Wroclaw (2024).
“Free flow” is the main foundation of my creative process — a state of openness to the present moment, the materiality of painting, and following the process itself.
In the presented work, I refer to the structure of impressions from reality perceived… on a deep, bodily level of sensation.
A constant transformation of the five elements — Earth, Fire, Wood, Metal, and Water. Micro-landscapes within tissues transforming into macro cosmic spaces.
During a sensitive observation of reality, all these impressions interpenetrate, and in the creative process I channel them through myself, engaging playfully with this flow.

Ewa Żuchnik is a painter and a graduate of the Eugeniusz Geppert Academy of Fine Arts in Wrocław. She employs an original acrylic technique, transforming sensitive observations of nature and its structures into abstract micro-landscapes and cosmic spaces. Her works channel the “free flow” of creativity, often inspired by the sensations of sound and the interplay of natural elements. Żuchnik’s art vibrates with energy, inviting viewers to experience a deep, bodily resonance and an openness to transformation.
